Presentation "Chiefs" High Eagle Fire Helmet. Ca. 1890's by Wilson. Hand painted leather front shield with Chief "O.F.D." and Steam Fire Engine. Presentation plaque on rear brim, "Presented to R.G. Blackburn Chief, Oswego Fire Department. by the Life Saving Corps N.Y.F.D. 1894. Comes with picture of Fire Chief wearing his helmet.
